Nicholas Young Solo Recital:  The Romantic Piano

Young Steinway Artist Nicholas Young will explore the legacy of Romantic virtuosity and lyricism – from its early champions Schubert and Schumann, the crucial late romanticists Brahms and Rachmaninoff, through to our own Australian proponents, Sydney composer Roy Agnew and Melbourne composer Alan Griffiths.

Satu Vanska (Violin) and Brenda Jones (Piano)

Join two of Australia’s most engaging musicians as they explore a dynamic range of beloved violin and piano favourites and stunning Australian music inspired by nature. This performance will delight listeners with repertoire from Brahms, Mozart, Meldelssohn, and Australians Tognetti, Pateras, and Mirrie Hill.

David Greco (Baritone)

Australian Baritone David Greco is known internationally for his interpretations Schubert lieder an the solo works of J.S. Bach, and has appeared as a principle in the world’s most exciting opera festivals.  Come and hear this critically acclaimed performer, with accompanist Vatch Jambazian on piano.

Streeton Trio

Australia’s most internationally successful piano trio, the Streeton Trio played for the South Coast Music Society in 2018 and returns to thrill local audiences in 2020.

 

 

 

 

All concerts are Sundays at 3.00 pm at St Bernard’s Church, Batehaven.  Join us for refreshments at interval and a free Q and A after each performance.

Tickets at the door (cash) are $40 adult, $35 members and pensioners.  Students and an accompanying adult free.  Book online and walk in or purchase tickets (cash only) at the door.
