Aura Go (piano)

We are delighted to present Aura Go in association with Musica Viva Australia. Go is an Australian pianist whose practice spans performance, collaboration, curation, education and artistic research. This program explores the intimate world of friendship through music, tracing a personal thread of affection, memory and artistic kinship. Works will include: Carlos Guastavino’s Mis Amigos, an enchanting set of ten musical portraits of friends, Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Schumann, Op. 9, written during his deep friendship with Robert and Clara Schumann; and Schubert’s Drei Klavierstücke, D. 94, music of profound interiority and tenderness.
